Top 5 Christmas to-do's in Vancouver!

Last Minute Christmas Activities 2018!
As well as Real Estate, we also love Christmas, so this week we are stepping away from the usual real estate topic to let you know our top 5 Christmas activities you can get up to this year to make the most of the festive period!
First of all, we are spoilt for choice when it comes to Christmas so these are our top 5 to-do’s for Christmas. At the bottom of the page you can check out a list of Christmas activities the city offers this time of year.
Starting off with Numero Uno:

  1. Aurora Winter Festival

This is a great one for the family (and reasonably priced compared to other alternatives.)The festival includes a ferris wheel, hidden winter village, special characters, Santa's Workshop, Tube slide and more. Located at Concord Pacific Place (811 Carrall Street)
For $60 you can get a Family ticket which allows 2 Adults and 3 Children entry. If you’re riding solo or as a couple, it’s $20 each a ticket.
Check out the following link for more information: Aurora Winter Festival

2)  Stanley Park Bright Nights
Always a classic here. Over 3 Million lights are set up throughout the park. The train ride is actually a decent length as well and really fun. Top that off with a dancing moose and you have it all. When not on the train, you can wander around with food/holiday drinks and check out the light display featuring Snoopy, Charlie Brown, The Grinch and more.
Entry is by Donation. The event is put on by Burnaby FIreFighters to raise money for burn victims so it’s a great cause! The recommended donation is only $5 per person.

3)  Polar Express
If you’re reading this it’s too late ……. Haha Drake jokes aside, this one usually fills up really quick as it’s such a great event. Just like the magical film, you ride the Polar Express INCLUDING Hot Chocolate. No Tom Hanks though :( . The train departs from Squamish and Pyjamas are the recommended attire for the journey. Bring your carolling voice too.
Tickets range from $45 and upwards. Get em quick if you’re interested!

4)  Visiting Santa
Old school is the best and that’s the thought behind point number 4 here. Visiting Santa is always top of the list, especially those of you with young children in the family. Top tip: This is a great way to score the aunt/uncle of the year award.
Prices vary depending on the event from Free to higher amounts based on the experience.

5)  Vancouver Christmas Market
The Vancouver Christmas Market is in full swing at Jack Poole Plaza. Activities range from a walk-in Christmas tree, Carousel, Food Nights, Santa and more. The market is open from 11:30am - 9:30pm and runs until Christmas Eve.
Tickets are $12 for Adults and $5 for kids. If you order online you get the Adult tickets for $10.
